Potential Falcon are Simon Connolly, Hugo Temby, Huw Murdoch, Donovan Martin and Joseph Foley. They play a kind of quirky indie rock-cum-country rock. If you like Wilco, My Morning Jacket, Neil Young, Sonic Youth, Pavement, The Fauves etc you’ll very likely not entirely dislike Potential Falcon.
The band formed in December 2006 in Melbourne, Australia. They have released a mini album entitled Hank Williams’ Grave in April 2007, and their debut album wings on fire in October 2009.
They have toured the east coast of Australia numerous times, playing with bands such as Halfway, The Fauves, The Paper Scissors, Bluejuice, The Hello Morning and more.
